Kirin Swanson

Kirin Swanson is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in strategic people management. Currently serving as a Senior People Business Partner for Technology and Design at Strava since March 2024, Kirin previously held the position of Senior Director of People at Upstatement, where the focus was on overseeing talent initiatives and providing strategic counsel to leadership. Kirin's prior tenure at IDEO included roles as Director of HR Business Partner and Senior HR Business Partner in Talent Acquisition, contributing to large-scale organizational change and developing equitable recruiting processes. Early career experiences at Net Impact as Program Manager and Program Associate involved supporting chapter leaders across the U.S. Kirin holds a Master’s Degree in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University and a BA in Political Science with an emphasis on International Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, complemented by studies at the University of Buenos Aires.
