Michele Bousquet is the Chief People Officer at Strava. Michele has over thirteen years of experience in human resources and has held senior positions at Brandless, Inc., GoPro, and Salient.

Bousquet began their career as an Executive Assistant to the CEO at Salient in 2006. In this role, they were responsible for managing the CEO's schedule and handling internal and external communications. Michele also took on special projects as needed. In 2007, they were promoted to VP of Executive Projects and became a member of the senior leadership team. In this role, they managed strategic projects for the company, coordinated company-wide initiatives, and worked closely with the Board of Directors.

In 2011, Bousquet was promoted again, this time to VP of People & Culture. In this role, they led the Talent and HR function and helped build a strong, happy team. Michele also managed relationships with the Board of Directors and was integral in executing on company-wide projects.

In 2015, Bousquet was promoted to Senior Vice President of Administration. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of the company, including human resources, finance, and legal. Michele also took on special projects as needed.

In 2016, Bousquet left Salient to join GoPro as their Sr. Director of Organizational Development. In this role, they led a team of global People Business Partners, Organizational Development professionals, Learning and Development specialists, and Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging experts. Their focus was on driving business success through building trust, helping employees achieve their fullest potential, strengthening employee engagement, and leading all manner of strategic People programs.

In 2018, Bousquet left GoPro to join Brandless as their Head of People + Places. In this role, they were responsible for leading the human resources function for the company. This included developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations issues, and overseeing the talent acquisition process.

Bousquet is currently the Chief People Officer at Strava. In this role, they are responsible for leading the human resources function for the company. Michele Bousquet has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature/Letters from San Diego State University. Michele also has a certification from BlessingWhite, a division of GP Strategies, as a Certified Facilitator of "Leading People."

Michele Bousquet reports to Michael Horvath, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with David Swain - VP, Content Strategy, Steve Lloyd - Chief Product & Technology Officer, and Annie Frye - General Counsel.
