Lead Critical Facilities Engineer at Stream Data Centers

Mario Chavez has a diverse work background in engineering and maintenance. Mario started their career in the US Navy as a Navy Nuclear MM, where they performed daily inspections and reports on relevant equipment, developed work packages to correct deficiencies, and completed non-destructive testing. After leaving the Navy, they worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Mario then transitioned to the private sector, working as a Lead Industrial Technician for Nolan Power Group, LLC, and as a Building Engineer for CBRE. Mario also gained experience in data centers, working as an Engineering Operations Technician for Metro Systems, Inc. and Amazon Web Services. Currently, they are working as a Lead Critical Facilities Engineer for Stream Data Centers.

Mario Chavez, Navy Nuke MM, has pursued education and certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2004-2005, they attended NNPTC, completing the Navy Nuke MM degree program, which included 'A' School, Power School, and Prototype (MTS 635). In 2012, they attended Falck Alford for undisclosed reasons. In 2014, they briefly enrolled in ROV Pilot/Tech Temple College. Mario has an additional certification in FOI, the details of which are unspecified.
