Baoshan Chen

Baoshan Chen has a diverse and extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Baoshan started their career in 1982 as an Aircraft Mechanic at the Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Base of CAAC, where they worked on Trident and B-757 aircraft.

In 1989, they joined Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd. (GAMECO) as a Manager for Material Purchasing/Planning & Sales. GAMECO is a Joint Venture between China Southern Airlines Co. Ltd., Lockheed Martin Corporation, and Hutchinson Whampoa (HK China) Ltd. Baoshan held this position until 2005.

After that, they worked at AAXICO/KAPCO Global from 2005 to 2014, serving as a General Manager.

From 2014 to 2020, Baoshan Chen was employed at PPG Aerospace as a Market Segment Manager for CMS-AP.

Their most recent position is with LongReach, where they currently serve as the Director of Business Development for China at LongReach Aviation, starting from March 2020.

Baoshan Chen completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Tianjin University from 1993 to 1995. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1987, they studied International Business and English at the University of East Asia Macao & Join China Southern University. Their earliest educational experience was at the Civil Aviation College of Guangzhou from 1980 to 1982, where they pursued a field of study in Civil Engineering.
