Senior Android Developer Advocate at Stream

Jaewoong Eum has had a long and varied career in software engineering. In 2014, they began working as a part-time Android developer and .Net developer at RealSMART. In 2015, they worked as a freelance software developer, contracting and developing more than 5 Android applications. In 2016, they worked as an Android & IoT engineer at COSCOI, developing more than five Android applications related to IoT and several SI/SM products. In 2017, they worked as an Android software engineer at Battle Entertainment, refactoring a previous old project of the Android application and developing and architecting a new project. In 2018, they worked as an open source software engineer and remote freelance with Digital Nomad in Singapore, contributing to and developing open-source projects and libraries. In 2020, they worked as an Android software engineer at Hyperconnect, developing new features for Hakuna Live (Social Live Streaming) Android application, introducing new tech stacks, and refactoring the previous architecture and base codes. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Senior Android Developer Advocate at Stream, developing and improving Stream Chat SDK for Android, helping out the Android developer team by reviewing codes, creating and maintaining innovative open-source projects and libraries, and writing technical content on Stream's blog.

Jaewoong Eum attended Gachon University from 2014 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering.
