Daniel Lanoix

Director, Enterprise File Transfer Services at Streamland Media

Daniel Lanoix has an extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Daniel is currently working at Streamland Media as the Director of Enterprise File Transfer Services, a role they continued from their previous position at Technicolor. At Technicolor, Daniel held the role of Manager of Global File Services, where they were responsible for overseeing file transfer technologies and projects. Daniel also served as the Regional IT Manager for Quebec, in charge of IT support, server and network administration for nine sites in the province. Prior to Technicolor, Daniel worked at Bauer (formerly Bauer Nike Hockey, Canstar) as an IT Manager, where they managed a team of network administrators and provided IT support for the company's sites. Daniel also worked as an IT technician at Groupe TVA and as a Unix Systems Administrator at DBM Reflex. Throughout their career, Daniel has demonstrated strong technical skills and leadership abilities in managing IT infrastructure and driving continuous improvement.

Daniel Lanoix has a diverse education history. From 1990 to 1994, they attended Collège d'Enseignement Général et Professionel de Saint-Jérôme (CEGEP), where they obtained a College Degree in Computer Science - Programmer/Analyst.

Daniel continued their education at Université du Québec à Montréal from 2003 to 2009, earning a Baccalauréat en administration in Administration de service.

In addition to their formal education, Lanoix has obtained several certifications. In 1994, they received the Silicon Graphics IRIX Intermediate Level certification from CRIM. In 1997, they obtained the Microsoft Exchange Server 4 certification from Global Knowledge, and the Microsoft Windows NT 4 MSCE certification (institution not specified). In 1998, they achieved the Cisco CCNA certification from CRIM. In 2001, they obtained the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Windows 2000 Server (MCSE) certification from CRIM. More recently, in 2010, they earned the ITIL Foundation certification from Global Knowledge, followed by the ITIL Practitioner certification from the same institution in 2011.
