Jung (JK) Kim

Jung (JK) Kim has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in software engineering and data engineering. Jung (JK) is currently working as a Software Engineer at StreamNative since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Sr. Data Engineer at ReSci (Retention Science) from December 2019 to September 2021.

Before joining ReSci, Jung was a Senior Data Engineer at GoGuardian from February 2016 to December 2019. Jung (JK)'sresponsibilities at GoGuardian included planning and implementing microservices that resulted in significant cost savings and retiring legacy database solutions.

Jung also worked at Yahoo as a Tech employee from June 2014 to February 2016, where they contributed to the Apache Pulsar project.

Prior to their experience at Yahoo, Jung worked as an Analyst Developer at Goldman Sachs from September 2013 to May 2014. Jung (JK) also served as a Senior Consultant at SunGard Global Services from June 2011 to September 2013.

Jung's career began with an internship as a System Administrator at Baylor University from May 2010 to May 2011.
