Christiaan Wesselink

Christiaan Wesselink is an experienced ophthalmologist currently serving at Streekziekenhuis Koningin Beatrix and Gelre ziekenhuizen since January 2017 and August 2016, respectively. In addition, Christiaan Wesselink held a fellowship in glaucoma at UMCG from January to December 2023. Prior to this, Wesselink was a PhD student at the University Medical Center Groningen, focusing on optimizing glaucoma care for an aging population from April 2008 to November 2017, and also completed a residency in ophthalmology. Wesselink obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Groningen between 2000 and 2007.
