Keith Hsu Chernin

Keith Hsu Chernin currently serves as the San Francisco Program Manager at Street Soccer USA since March 2023. Previously, Keith worked at The New School of San Francisco from August 2018 to June 2022 in various roles, including Lead Teacher for both 4th Grade and Kindergarten, as well as Professional Development Facilitator. In these positions, Keith focused on lesson planning, classroom management, mentorship, and designing professional development programs centered around inquiry-based teaching and diversity, equity, and inclusion goals. Keith's career also includes experience as a Transitional Kindergarten Teacher with San Francisco Unified School District, a Corps Member with Teach For America, and a Teaching Fellow with Breakthrough Collaborative. Keith holds a Master of Arts in Urban Education and Leadership from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Development Studies from Colby College.
