Erdem Sezer is an experienced engineer with a diverse background in design and production engineering. Currently serving as a Betriebsmittelingenieur Produktion and previously as a Konstruktionsingenieur at StreetScooter GmbH since July 2019, Erdem has developed expertise in various engineering roles. Prior experience includes positions as Ingenieur CAD-Design at BENTELER Engineering / Ford Werke GmbH and Entwicklungs Ingenieur Composite Design at ESCAD AG / Airbus Helicopters Deutschland. Erdem's career began with practical experiences at ESCAD AG and Nora Systems, Inc. Erdem holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Albstadt-Sigmaringen University and completed vocational training as a Bäcker Geselle at Berufsschule schwäbisch Gmünd.

StreetScooter GmbH was founded in 2010 in the environment of RWTH Aachen University and established itself by 2020 as one of the leading manufacturers and innovators of sustainable mobility solutions in the commercial vehicle sector. In December 2014, StreetScooter GmbH became a 100% subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group. Within only 10 years, almost 20.000 individual electric vehicles of the WORK, WORK L and WORK XL models were put on the road for the parent company Deutsche Post DHL Group as well as the international third market. Since March 2020, StreetScooter GmbH has concentrated on operating the existing fleet of the Deutsche Post DHL Group.
