Martin Ostwald has extensive experience in quality assurance and control, holding technician positions at various companies, including StreetScooter GmbH, Inalfa Roof Systems Group, FEV GmbH, and Bombardier Transportation GmbH from 2013 to 2017. Prior to this, Martin Ostwald served as a construction supervisor technician at AIXTRON SE and was a master aircraft mechanic and soldier in the Bundeswehr from 1992 to 2005. Martin Ostwald earned a degree in Feinmechaniker from RWTH Aachen University between 1988 and 1992.
StreetScooter GmbH
StreetScooter GmbH was founded in 2010 in the environment of RWTH Aachen University and established itself by 2020 as one of the leading manufacturers and innovators of sustainable mobility solutions in the commercial vehicle sector. In December 2014, StreetScooter GmbH became a 100% subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group. Within only 10 years, almost 20.000 individual electric vehicles of the WORK, WORK L and WORK XL models were put on the road for the parent company Deutsche Post DHL Group as well as the international third market. Since March 2020, StreetScooter GmbH has concentrated on operating the existing fleet of the Deutsche Post DHL Group.
