Tam Nguyen

Tam Nguyen is an experienced economic data assistant at Haver Analytics since March 2025, responsible for monitoring macroeconomic data for emerging countries and enhancing data quality. Concurrently, Tam participates in a professional fellowship at StreetWise Partners to support job searches. As a BASTA Fellow from September 2023 to February 2025, Tam engaged in career preparation for first-generation college students. Additional roles include a college assistant position at Queens College ITS Department, research assistance for professor Francesc Ortega, and involvement in event planning with the Macaulay Business Club. Tam has also contributed to the ISACA NYM Cybersecurity Case Study Competition, generated social media campaigns for Viet Nga Restaurant, facilitated LinkedIn management for ALPFA, and completed an externship with Paragon One focusing on start-ups in longevity tech. Tam holds a Bachelor of Science in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from Queens College, completed in 2024.
