Tracy Salcedo is an accomplished writer and editor with extensive experience in both publishing and education. Since 1998, Tracy has operated Laughingwater Ink, publishing guidebooks and historical essays. In addition to this venture, Tracy serves as a Library Media Specialist at Dunbar Elementary School and has held the position since October 2017. Tracy also works as a contract editor at Streetwise Reports, after previously overseeing production of investment newsletters. As a freelance author and editor for Rowman & Littlefield, Tracy has contributed to various genres, including outdoor guides and memoirs. Additionally, Tracy has a background in education, having worked as a substitute teacher and school garden coordinator at Dunbar Elementary School from 2000 to 2011. Tracy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, and has completed graduate coursework in Education at Sonoma State University.
