Grant Barber

Grant Barber, Ph.D., is a polymer scientist with extensive experience in the field of polymer science and engineering. Currently serving as a Polymer Scientist at Stress Engineering Services, Inc. since March 2023, Grant previously worked as a Polymer Consultant at Barber Polymer Consultants from 2022 to March 2023. Prior roles include Senior Scientist at DSM (2016-2022), Polymer Engineer at The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (2015), Product Development Specialist at Dexco Polymers (2012-2014), Product Development Scientist for Fortron and Vectra at Ticona (2008-2012), Principal R&D Technologist at PolyOne (2005-2008), and R&D Scientist at J.M. Huber Corporation (2003-2005). Grant holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Polymer Science & Engineering from The University of Southern Mississippi and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
