Vanessa M Chu

Vanessa M Chu has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 2004, they worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Lehman Brothers until 2007. From 2007 to 2009, they served as a Corporate Strategy Analyst at Allianz Global Investors Asia Pacific. In 2011, they became the Director of Business Development at Organic Avenue, a position they held until 2012 when the company was acquired. Vanessa M then joined BluePrint as a Retail Growth & Innovation Consultant from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they became the Director of Business Development at Project Juice, a portfolio company of First Beverage Group. In 2015, they co-founded NOW the Practice and served as a Co-Founder until 2016. During 2016, they worked as the Director of Partnerships at HealthKick. Currently, they hold the role of Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder at Stretch*d since 2017.

Vanessa M Chu completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology & Economics from Wellesley College, which they attended from 2000 to 2004. Later, they pursued their Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia Business School, studying there from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, Vanessa obtained certifications in meditation and yoga teaching. In 2009, they earned a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification from Pure Yoga Hong Kong through the Yoga Alliance institution. Similarly, in 2016, they obtained a 200 Hour Meditation Teacher Certification from Embodied Mind San Francisco, also accredited by the Yoga Alliance.
