Joy N. Punniyalingam

Joy N. Punniyalingam has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. They started their career as a Management Trainee at HEMAS HOLDINGS PLC in 2013 and later worked as a Management Trainee at Discover the World - Global and FAR Shipping Agency Lanka Pvt Ltd in 2014. In 2015, they joined Bharti Airtel Lanka as an Executive, where they handled inventory and warehouse management responsibilities, as well as sourcing and procurement. They also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Moratuwa during this time. From 2016 to 2018, Joy worked at HEMAS HOLDINGS PLC as a Senior Executive, managing outbound and reverse logistics operations and conducting research and development in supply chain. Since 2018, Joy has been working at Stretchline Holdings Ltd., initially as an AM - Warehouse & Logistics and currently as the Head of Warehouse & Logistics (South Asia Region). In this role, they provide operational and strategic leadership to 4 SBUs under the company and facilitate the EXCO team in making long-term and short-term plans.

Joy N. Punniyalingam completed a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Transport & Logistics Management from the University of Moratuwa, which they attended from 2010 to 2015. Joy N. then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on International Business at the University of Colombo, from 2017 to 2019. Prior to their university studies, Joy attended St. Xavier's Boys' National School from 1997 to 2008, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for that period. Joy has also obtained the certification of CMILT from The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK) in September 2021.
