Sajeewa Dayaratne has held multiple positions in various companies since 1999. Sajeewa began their career as a CTO and co-founder of Kiwilab Ltd. in 1999. Sajeewa then moved on to become a Lead Developer at Peace Software in 2002. In 2005, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Navman, as well as President of Varsity Toastmasters. In 2008, they were promoted to Software Development Manager at Navman Technology NZ Ltd., where they were also the Navigation Engine Team Lead. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Navico as the Software Development Manager - APAC, and from 2019 to 2023 they worked at Coretex as the VP of Engineering and Head of Engineering. Sajeewa is currently the Vice President of Engineering at StretchSense.
Sajeewa Dayaratne's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from the University of Auckland, obtained between 1998 and 2001, with a major in Computer Systems Engineering. Sajeewa then went on to obtain a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) from the University of Auckland between 2003 and 2004, with a major in Computer Architecture. After that, they obtained a Diploma in Management Advanced from the New Zealand Institute of Management between 2011 and 2012, with a major in Business Administration and Management, General.
