Sarah Perren has extensive experience in the field of agriculture and education, currently serving as a Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin at Agroscope since June 2014, focusing on phytopathology in fruit cultivation and leading projects HERAKLES and HERAKLES Plus. In parallel, Sarah has been a Berufsschullehrerin for horticulture at Strickhof since 2018, responsible for planning the curriculum for fruit cultivation instruction. Previous roles include teaching plant cultivation for agricultural students at Landwirtschaftszentrum Visp, and serving as both a scientific and technical staff member at Agroscope and the Bundesamt für Landwirtschaft. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Crop Science from ETH Zürich, a CAS in Agrarrecht, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agrarwissenschaften from ETH Zürich. Additionally, Sarah holds a Didaktikzertifikat in agricultural sciences and has studied plant production at the Università degli Studi di Perugia through the Erasmus program.
