Alex George

Alex George has extensive work experience, beginning in 2013 when they were a Software/Hardware Engineering Intern at Accutrol. In 2014, they returned to Accutrol as a Software/Hardware Engineering Intern and worked with the Engineering Team to develop, test, and debug a new fume hood controller product. In 2015, Alex was an Intern at the U.S. Army CCDC Army Research Laboratory, where they researched different No-Reference Image Quality Assessment algorithms. Alex also worked as a Student Researcher at CVORG at the University of Delaware that same year. From 2016 to 2019, Alex worked at Unisys as an Innovation Leadership Team Member, Software Engineer, and Associate Software Engineer. In 2019, they joined Angi as a Senior Software Engineer (Acting Engineering Manager) and Software Engineer. Most recently, Alex began working at Stride in 2022 as a Software Engineering Manager.

Alex George obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Delaware between 2012 and 2016. Prior to that, they attended Joel Barlow High School between 2008 and 2012. In November 2018, they earned a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from DailyAgile.
