Andrew Young

Andrew Young has worked in various roles in the tech and design industry since 2012. Andrew began their career as a Marketing & Design Associate for The Cambridge Network in 2012, then worked as a Graphic Designer for Ki Editorial+Design. In 2013, they became a Web & Print Designer for The Laidlaw Group, LLC, where they created print materials, Wordpress-based websites, and web videos for clients. Andrew also designed a 70-page catalog for a premier hardscape supplier. In 2014, they worked as a Multimedia Designer for 451 Agency, where they designed client projects and materials for internal marketing. Andrew also directed, shot, and edited video/motion graphics content. In 2018, they became a Software Engineer for Fuigo, where they developed for the Fuigo Marketplace, a one-stop e-commerce platform for interior design products. In 2019, they worked as a Front-End Engineer for ThankView.com, where they developed and maintained the flagship B2B web app and led the front-end development of a WYSIWYG envelope builder. Andrew also worked as a Front-End Developer for kathryngoshorn.com, where they developed a portfolio site for a Brooklyn-based artist. Currently, they are a Software Engineer for Stride, where they are developing a health insurance quoting/enrollment platform.

Andrew Young received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication Design from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 2018, they completed a Web Development Immersive program at General Assembly.
