Joël Archambault-Gareau

Joël joined Strigo as Manager of Product Development in April of 2022, eager to take part in the development of the next generation of mobile satellite service solutions.

With a background in embedded systems engineering and industrial standards integration (SAE, ISO, IEEE), Joël loves a good challenge and is driven by the chance to help build a company that keeps Canadians connected wherever they are.

After studying music composition, Joël discovered signal processing and mechatronics, working for five years in the automotive field as a control-system engineer. At Strigo, he’s directly involved in the development of next-gen satellite communications services and the creation of a holistic vision of systems throughout their engineering teams.

Whether it’s composing music for major orchestras, tackling a good engineering problem or being part of a team that’s creating the future of telecommunications, Joël is a builder at heart, so, he’s the ideal person for his role at Strigo.

Joel has a B.Mus. from the University of Montréal and B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sherbrooke.
