Justin Allen

Justin Allen has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Justin is currently serving as the Director Customer Engineering at Striim, where they are responsible for overseeing Striim's Fortune 100 customers adoption and growth business lines. Prior to this role, Justin worked as a Senior Engineering Manager - Customer Success & Professional Services at Striim, leading a technical team of Customer Engineers and delivering focused product adoption support services. Before joining Striim, Justin worked as a Senior Field Engineer at Striim, where they played a key role in customer engagement and acquisition by architecting real-time streaming intelligence applications and implementing solutions in Streaming Data Intelligence and Integration.

In addition to their roles at Striim, Justin has also served as a Board Member for the UCSD - Computer Science & Engineering Alumni Board, where they supported the CSE department staff and faculty in understanding software industry challenges. Justin also volunteered their time and expertise to students and student groups by organizing events and providing guidance on career paths in software engineering.

Prior to their time at Striim and UCSD, Justin worked at Teradata as a Software Engineer II, contributing to product feature development, primarily programming in Java and C/C++. Justin also worked as an Intern, Software Engineer at Teradata, where they developed an extensible and scalable server performance collection monitor.

Justin's career began at UCSD ACS-ResNet, where they served as a Computer Support Specialist, supporting students and faculty with computer systems, networking, and computer security.

Justin Allen attended Grossmont College from 2004 to 2007, studying General Studies. Justin then went on to attend UC San Diego from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
