Manuela Rios

Manuela Rios has a diverse and extensive work experience. Manuela is currently working at Strike as the Vice President of Product, a role they started in August 2022. Prior to that, they were the Director of Product at Strike from December 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining Strike, Manuela worked at Andreessen Horowitz as a Scout, starting in June 2021.

Manuela also has experience at Robinhood, where they held the positions of Manager, Product Management from December 2020 to December 2021, and Product Manager from March 2018 to January 2021.

Furthermore, Manuela worked at First Round Fast Track as a Mentor from March 2020 to June 2020.

Manuela also has experience at FiscalNote, where they held the role of Product Manager on the Web Applications team, focusing on Regulatory and Data Science efforts, from October 2016 to February 2018. Prior to that, they were an Associate Product Manager on the Web Application and Mobile teams from March 2016 to October 2016.

Manuela started their career as a Teaching Assistant for INFO 3450: Human-Computer Interaction Design at Cornell University from August 2015 to December 2015. Manuela also held the position of Developer and Designer at Cornell App Development, utilizing Swift and Objective-C to develop iOS apps, from September 2014 to December 2015.

Additionally, Manuela had a Product Management Internship at Whisper App from June 2015 to August 2015, where they worked on retention analysis and usability studies.

Prior to these roles, they worked as a Teaching Assistant for CS 2300: Intermediate Design and Programming for the Web and as a Consultant for CS 1110: Intro to Computing Using Python at Cornell University. In these roles, they supported course staff, graded projects and exams, and conducted lab sections and office hours.

Manuela Rios has pursued their education in the field of Human Computer Interaction with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Cornell University. Manuela achieved a distinction in all subjects during their time there. Additionally, they have shown an interest in Computer Science and has attended AIT Budapest, although the degree obtained from this institution is not specified. In terms of certifications, Manuela has completed The Leadership Consortium (TLC) Leaders Program and received a certificate of completion in March 2020.
