Raza Sajjad - MS, CRISC, CEH - SOC, Risk, Compliance

Raza Sajjad has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and risk management. Raza began their career as an intern at Meezan Bank Limited and later interned at Pakistan International Airlines. After that, Raza joined Al Meezan Investment Management Limited as a Network and Security Engineer, where they were responsible for the deployment and management of various security solutions. Raza then moved to Faysal Bank Limited, where they worked as an Information Security Analyst and Manager Application Security Risk Management. In these roles, they assessed application and database security compliance, identified vulnerabilities, and provided guidance to technology and business teams. Currently, Raza is working at StrikeReady as a Senior Cyber Threat Analyst, specifically focusing on Cyber Security Management (CSM). Overall, Raza Sajjad has a strong background in SOC, risk management, and compliance, with a comprehensive understanding of cyber threat analysis and security risk assessment.

Raza Sajjad holds a Master's Degree in IT from the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, which was earned from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication & Network from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, completing it from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their academic achievements, Raza Sajjad has obtained several certifications related to their field. Raza became a Certified In Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) through ISACA in May 2020. Prior to that, in October 2018, they acquired the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEHv10) certification from EC-Council.

Furthermore, they hold the certifications of NSE 1 - Network Security Associate and NSE 2 Network Security Associate, obtained in January 2019 and February 2020 respectively, from Fortinet. Additionally, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from Cisco in April 2016.

Raza Sajjad has also acquired expertise in specific areas through additional certifications, such as Coverity Build and Analysis and Coverity: Users Groups and Roles, obtained from Synopsys Inc in April 2022 and October 2021 respectively.
