Purvesh Shingala

Purvesh Shingala has worked in the biotechnology industry for over 15 years. From 2016 to present, they have held the roles of Director, Associate Director, and Sr. Manager at String Bio Private Limited. Prior to this role, they were Manager Process Engineering at DSM from 2014 to 2016. From 2005 to 2014, they were Manager- Engineering at Tata Chemicals, where they had experience in Process engineering/ Technical Services & project co-ordination. From 2003 to 2005, they were a Senior Engineer at Wockhardt, where they worked on scale up and process optimization of various chromatography techniques and scale up optimization of different unit operations.

Purvesh Shingala completed their High School at RPTP College, Vallabh Vidhyanagar in 1996-1997. Purvesh then obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from VVP Engineering College - India in 1997-2001. Following this, they earned their Master's Degree in BioProcess Engineering from University Institute of Chemical Technology (formerly UDCT) in 2001-2003. Lastly, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in International Business from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning in 2010-2011.
