Richard Joseph is a research associate at String Bio Private Limited since April 2021, previously holding the position of research assistant. Prior experience includes a role as a research fellow at PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research from September 2020 to March 2021, focusing on the "Culture dependent and bioprospecting of halophilic prokaryotes obtained from an artisanal coastal solar saltern" under the supervision of Dr. Kabilan Mani. Richard Joseph holds a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from PSG College of Technology, completed in 2020, and a diploma in Chemical Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, earned in 2017.
