Rebecca Solomon is a dedicated educator with diverse experience in teaching and program development. Currently serving as a Middle School Science Teacher at String Theory Schools since August 2023, Rebecca previously worked as a Long Term Substitute Teacher at Esperanza. Notable entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding Acro&, where instruction in Partner Acrobatics and Handstands was designed and delivered to a diverse community. Rebecca's background includes roles such as Education Program Coordinator at The Philly Game Shop, where responsibilities encompassed program creation and community engagement, and River Alive! Gallery Educator at the Independence Seaport Museum, focusing on STE(A)M programming. Additionally, Rebecca has contributed as a Writing and Communications Specialist at the Center for Hunger-Free Communities and has a strong foundation in outdoor education from work with Teaching Responsible Earth Education. Educational qualifications include an ongoing Master of Education in Educational Nonprofits from Harvard Graduate School of Education, along with degrees from Tulane University and Bard College at Simon's Rock.
