Matthew Webb

Matthew Webb is an experienced professional in the automotive sector, currently serving as Managing Director at Strip Tinning Automotive since September 2016. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of General Manager/Director at Refco Metals LLC in Dubai and at Refco Metals Ltd in the UK, where Matthew developed the GCC’s first downstream aluminium fabrication plant, compliant with TS16949/ISO9001 standards. Matthew also managed over 350 staff as Managing Director at Webasto Roof Systems Ltd, generating an annual turnover of £68 million and serving key clients like Jaguar Land Rover, Nissan, and Toyota. Matthew's career began at Lucas Electronics, where Matthew trained as a Project Manager. Matthew holds a BEng&Com degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Business Studies from the University of Birmingham, earned between 1990 and 1994.
