Abhisek Chatterjee

Abhisek Chatterjee is an accomplished leader in infrastructure and software engineering with extensive experience in major technology companies. Currently serving as the Head of Core Infrastructure at Stripe since September 2021, Abhisek oversees critical foundational services related to compute, networking, and databases. Prior roles include Head of Compute at Oracle, where responsibilities included managing core compute infrastructure teams for Oracle's Next Gen Cloud, and leading Amazon Linux Engineering at AWS, focusing on global Linux and OpenSource development. Abhisek's career also includes significant contributions at IBM, where leadership spanned open source technology development, virtualization, and product management across various roles, as well as positions in ICT management at the Department of Communications & IT and Canberra Institute of Technology. Abhisek holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology with a focus on software engineering from the University of Canberra.
