Aitor Guevara

Aitor Guevara has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 15 years. Aitor currently holds the position of Head of Engineering at Stripe since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at New Relic, Inc. where their roles included Vice President & Product General Manager, Senior Principal Software Engineer & Chief Architect, Principal Software Engineer & Chief Architect, Principal Software Engineer & Architect, and Lead Software Engineer & Architect. Aitor also co-founded Ducksboard and served as the CTO, leading the technological stack of the company. Ducksboard was later acquired by New Relic. Before that, they worked as a Web Development Team Leader at Flumotion, responsible for web and databases infrastructure and operation. Aitor's early career started at Cometa Technologies, Smile Group, where they worked as a Web Developer, handling middle-sized web-based projects for Spanish companies and organizations. Throughout their career, Aitor has showcased their expertise in engineering, architecture, leadership, and product management.

Aitor Guevara obtained an Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.
