Arnaud Ponchon

Arnaud Ponchon has over 17 years of experience in software engineering and management roles. Arnaud is currently serving as the Head of Software Engineering at Stripe since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineering Lead at Stripe from 2020 to 2023. From 2017 to 2020, Arnaud worked at Square, starting as a Software Engineering Manager and later promoted to Senior Engineering Manager. Before Square, they served at Basis, an Intel company, from 2013 to 2017 as a Firmware Team Manager and Senior Firmware Engineer. Arnaud also worked at Alcatel-Lucent as a Software Development Manager from 2011 to 2013. Arnaud began their career at FormScape as a Tester Analyst in 2003 and has since held various software engineering roles at Laborius, B2I, and Motorola.

Arnaud Ponchon completed their Master's Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, and Computer Science at CPE Lyon from 2001 to 2005. In 2004 to 2005, they also studied Robotics and Embedded Software at Université de Sherbrooke. Arnaud additionally holds certifications as a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner from the Project Management Institute in 2015 and as a Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in 2013.
