Matt Ziegler

Head of Corporate Strategy at Stripe

Matt Ziegler is the Head of Corporate Strategy at Stripe. Prior to Stripe, Matt was the Chief of Staff at DoubleDutch from June 2012 to June 2017. In this role, they drove special projects across the business, including CorpDev (M&A), pricing redesign, customer segmentation, long-term product strategy, and org redesign. Matt also led program management for the office of the CEO, overseeing executive team alignment and communication, variable comp design, and company strategic planning.

Before DoubleDutch, Matt worked at Bain & Company from September 2008 to July 2011, where they began as an Associate Consultant and was promoted to Senior Associate Consultant in 2010. During their time at Bain, Matt advised private equity funds on transactions valued at $500M-$5B, led primary and secondary research projects, and developed proficiency in statistical analyses including regression and CHAID / CART. Matt also worked on corporate strategy for a major US telecom, merger integration for a global airline, and sales strategy for a tech distributor.

Matt Ziegler graduated from the Wharton School with a B.S. in Economics and a concentration in Management Sciences (Pre-med). Matt then went on to complete their MBA at Harvard Business School.

Matt Ziegler reports to William Alvarado, Chief Business Officer. Matt Ziegler works with Raimondo Murari - Head of Marketing Operations, Tim Drinan - Head of Product Communications, and Sasha de Marigny - Head of Brand Communications.
