Maureen Krugman

Maureen Krugman is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Commercial Counsel and Lead at Stripe since May 2022. Prior to this role, Krugman held positions at Morgan Stanley from February 2018 to May 2022, including Executive Director of Technology & Data Legal and Deputy Global IP Counsel, where responsibilities involved managing complex IT and IP matters and advising on data security, protection, and strategic partnerships. At Cisco, from September 2006 to September 2015, roles included Program Manager for Complex Deals & SP Services, Senior Corporate Counsel, and Corporate Counsel, focusing on complex IT deals, legal compliance, and channel partner program support across the APAC region. Earlier experience includes work as a Staff Attorney at IBM (2004-2006) negotiating IT outsourcing deals and as a Lawyer at Blake Dawson Waldron (1999-2004), providing corporate advisory services. Krugman holds a BA/LLB in Law from The Australian National University and has further education from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
