Mike Treadway

Mike Treadway has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Mike is currently working as a Principal Engineer at Stripe since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Kyndryl as a Distinguished Engineer and Chief Architect & CTO for the Kyndryl Bridge Platform. Mike was responsible for creating an API-driven, service-oriented AIOps delivery platform. Before that, they held the position of Principal Enterprise Architect at IBM from 2017 to 2021, where they led and managed a team of engineers for the Catalyst Platform. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at Verizon Enterprise Solutions, where they held the roles of Associate Fellow - Software Architect and Distinguished Software Architect. Their responsibilities included leading solution efforts and serving as a lead architect for various projects. Mike also has work experience at Austin Lane Technologies, Inc. and NEC, where they worked as a Software Architect and Senior Software Engineer respectively. In their role as a Software Engineering Manager at Austin Lane Technologies, they played a key role in the design and development of enterprise systems. Overall, Mike Treadway has a strong background in software architecture, development, and project management across multiple industries and domains.

Mike Treadway holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from the University of North Texas, completing their studies from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their education, Mike Treadway has obtained various certifications, including Plateau and IBM Recognized Speaker/Presenter from IBM in 2019, as well as the First Patent File from IBM in 2018. Mike also holds a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer certification from Microsoft, obtained in 2004.
