Reid Buzby

Reid Buzby is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in the tech industry, currently employed at Stripe since April 2024. Prior to this role, Buzby served as Tech Lead at Ponto from July 2021 to April 2024, where leadership over backend systems and a team of seven engineers resulted in a successful re-architecture and launch of a new product within three months. Buzby was the first employee at Ponto, contributing to its growth as a fintech startup backed by significant funding. Previous positions include software engineering roles at Rethink and Sunrun, as well as a unique experience as a professional golfer with qualification for PGA Tour Canada. Buzby earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Mathematics from Middlebury College in 2019.
