Roger Seagle

Roger Seagle is an experienced engineering manager specializing in security, currently working at Stripe since October 2020. Prior to this role, Roger held various positions at Cisco from March 2006 to October 2020, including Director and Principal Engineer within the Threat Intelligence Platform, where responsibilities included collaboration with internal clients to determine platform requirements and enhancing security incident response capabilities. Roger's earlier roles at Cisco involved significant contributions to security research and product assessment methodologies. Roger began their career with research roles at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the University of Tennessee, where foundational work in automation and Internet protocol research was conducted. Roger holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, as well as a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Wake Forest University.
