Suman Bukka

Suman Bukka is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in managing and overseeing engineering teams across various high-profile companies. Currently serving as the Engineering Leader at Stripe since June 2025, Suman focuses on compliance platform operations to ensure alignment with global regulatory requirements. Previously, Suman held key positions at Smartsheet as Director of Engineering and Engineering Leader, and at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America as Engineering Manager. With a foundational background at Amazon as a Software Development Manager, Suman was instrumental in developing scalable solutions and assembling high-performing teams. Early career experience includes a Technical Specialist role at Philips Electronics, focusing on software development for ultrasound devices. Suman holds an M.Tech in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Calicut and a B.Tech from Jyothi Engineering College, complemented by a diploma in Computer Science.
