Alexander Gochal

Alexander Gochal is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in private equity and venture capital tax services. Currently serving as Tax Director at Stripes since October 2021, Gochal previously held multiple positions at Point72, including Private Equity & Venture Capital Tax Lead, Associate General Counsel - Tax, and Vice President - Tax, from February 2017 to October 2021. Prior experience at KPMG from April 2011 to February 2017 involved serving as Senior Manager, where Gochal provided tax services to private equity and hedge fund clients, focusing on complex legal research related to various tax compliance issues. Gochal began a legal career as a Judicial Staff Attorney in the Complex Litigation Docket for the Connecticut Judicial Branch and as a Judicial Law Clerk for the State of Connecticut. Gochal earned a BA in Economics from The Johns Hopkins University and a JD, Cum Laude, from New York Law School.
