Matt Hartshorn

Matt Hartshorn has extensive experience in tax management and consulting. Matt currently holds the position of Tax Director at AirTrunk. Prior to their current role, they worked at Macquarie Group as the Head of Tax for Macquarie Asset Management Public Investments and as a Tax Director for Macquarie Investment Management. Matt also served as a Tax Manager for Group Tax at Macquarie Group. Before joining Macquarie Group, Matt worked as an International Tax Consultant at REACH. Matt'searly career includes a role as a Tax Consultant at KPMG Australia and internships at KPMG Australia.

Matt Hartshorn completed their education at various institutions. Matt attended Barker College from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained their HSC degree. Matt then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance)/Law at UNSW from 1998 to 2002. After their bachelor's degree, Matt pursued a Masters of Tax at UNSW from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, they earned several certifications such as Tax Agent from the Tax Practitioners Board in 2010, CTA from The Tax Institute in 2005, and became a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 2003, accredited by The Law Society of New South Wales.
