Jason Santiago is a Partner and Chief Technical Officer at Stripes, a technology-focused investment bank. Jason has over fifteen years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on web product development and private equity financing.

Jason started their career at Primedia, where they led matrixed teams of programmers, designers and database engineers to scope and develop multi-million dollar and multi-year web product development efforts from idea through launch. Jason also defined Internet product strategies for B2C and B2B magazines including Motor Trend, Snowboarder and New York Magazine.

In 2005, Jason joined Cowen and Company, LLC as an Investment Banker. Jason was responsible for leading private equity financings for technology companies including performing detailed company and financial due diligence, crafting management presentations, developing financial models and projections, marketing deals to investors, and negotiating deal terms. During their four years at Cowen, Jason raised over $700 million in private equity vehicles for a variety of companies across various industry verticals, including consumer Internet and SaaS.

In 2009, Jason joined Stripes as a Partner and Chief Technical Officer. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the business, from product development to systems infrastructure. Jason also sits on the firm's investment committee and is actively involved in the sourcing and execution of new investments.

Jason Santiago has a MBA in finance and general management from Columbia Business School as well as a BA in architecture and planning from Columbia University.
