Stefano Virgilli

Stefano Virgilli is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at Strips Finance. Prior to this, they were the Chief Marketing Officer at Strips.Finance from January 2022 to April 2022. During their time there, they fully funded $14.5 M by 21 institutional investors, built a marketing team, and established best practices. Stefano also managed communications for a Testnet Trading Competition that generated $ 16.7Bn volume in 10 days, launched Mainnet on Arbitrum (Ethereum Layer 2), attended international events, and complete a redesign of www.strips.finance. Before their time at Strips.Finance, Stefano was the Chief Executive Officer at Pocket Money from July 2018 to April 2020. During their time there, they attracted and managed USD 750k in Seed investment, built an online community with members in 25 countries, established business operations in Singapore and Uganda, applied for 3 licenses under the Central Bank of Uganda, trademarked IP in 2 countries, built a global team of 25 individuals across 5 time zones, represented the company in multiple international exhibitions, andcoordinated the development of a mobile wallet available as a web app, iOS and Android. Stefano has also generated more than 300 media coverages and defined the scope of work of a second mobile app for the African market.

Stefano Virgilli holds a Diploma in Comunicazione e design from Università del Progetto, a Business and law diploma from Istituto Tecnico Carlo Cattaneo, and an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment in Curriculum Development, Training and Assessment from Workforce Development Authority of Singapore.
