Kelly Abeln

Kelly Abeln has extensive work experience in the healthcare field. Kelly started their career at UC Health in 2011 as an Oncology Staff Nurse/Nurse Clinician, where they provided care in various areas such as hematology-oncology, IV therapy, BMT, and gynecologic oncology. Kelly also created and implemented patient care plans, administered medications including chemotherapy, and performed nursing procedures. In 2015, they advanced to the role of RN Clinical Manager, supervising and counseling a multidisciplinary team of professionals in care management, patient outreach, and population health. Kelly collaborated on and managed multiple pilot programs, including specialized high-risk care coordination and a COVID support hotline. In 2022, Kelly joined Strive Health as a Sr. Clinical Manager, and in 2023, they assumed the role of Regional Clinical Director.

Kelly Abeln has a Master of Social Work degree from The Ohio State University. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued an Accelerated BSN degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing.
