Travis Johnston

Travis Johnston is a Senior Data Scientist at Striveworks since January 2021, with prior positions as a Staff Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from July 2016 to December 2020, focusing on neural networks for image recognition in scientific datasets. Previous research experience includes a postdoctoral role at the University of Delaware, specializing in data modeling and algorithms for in-situ data analysis of large structural biology datasets (August 2014 - July 2016), and a Teaching Assistant position at the University of South Carolina (August 2009 - May 2014), where introductory mathematics courses were taught.
