Katherine Ehni

Katherine Ehni has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2011 when they were selected by the French Ministry of Education to assist with the English language program at two public schools. In 2012, they joined Wheelhouse Search as a Search Marketing Associate, where they translated on-site web copy from English to French, increased client social media account reach by 70%, and increased blog traffic by 55%. In 2013, they worked as a Project Associate for Management Sciences for Health, providing financial and project management support to the $142 million USAID-funded Integrated Health Project in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In 2015, they began freelance work as a Copywriter, where they wrote website copy, blog posts, and email marketing campaigns for clients in fields such as travel, real estate, and fashion and beauty retail. In 2018, they joined Switch, Inc. as a Software Developer, and also began studying at General Assembly, where they completed the Web Development Immersive curriculum as well as three additional months of independent study. Katherine wrote over 25 websites and apps using the MEAN stack, JavaScript, Ruby, SQL, RESTful APIs, and more, and also studied system design, data structures, sorting algorithms, and ember.

Katherine Ehni has a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton College. Katherine also attended a summer semester at the University of Cambridge, studying Economics. Katherine has taken a course in Sociolinguistics 432 at the University of Washington, as well as an Introduction to French to English Translation at the NYU School of Professional Studies. Finally, they attended Lakeside School.
