David Raiser has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. David is currently the Chief Operating Officer at STRM.BIO, a pre-clinical biotechnology company focused on gene therapies. Prior to this, David was the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board at Aldatu Biosciences, a Boston-based biotechnology company developing diagnostic tools for infectious diseases. David also served as the Founder and Director of Redline, a community vocal music group. David has a strong academic background as well, having pursued a Ph.D. at Harvard Medical School, where they conducted research on human ribosomopathies and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications. David has also worked as an Early Technology Assessment Fellow at Harvard University, where they evaluated new technologies for commercialization potential. Additionally, David has experience as a Consultant at the Harvard Graduate Volunteer Consulting Group and has worked as a Curation Scientist at NextBio, where they curated data from scientific publications. David has also worked as a Freelance Writer at QuinStreet.
David Raiser graduated from Harvard University in 2015 with a Ph.D. in Biology and Genetics. Prior to that, they attended the University of Richmond from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a B.S. in Biology and a B.A in Music.
