Bridget Wood is an experienced language educator with a diverse background in teaching and tutoring French. Currently serving as the French Course Manager at Strode College since September 2021, Bridget also offers private tutoring to students ranging from primary school to adult learners since September 2016. Previous roles include a higher-level teaching assistant at Charlton Mackrell CofE Primary School, where Bridget delivered literacy, maths, and French lessons. Bridget spent a significant part of their career at Millfield School, holding positions such as Head of French and Senior Tutor while mentoring future educators. Additionally, Bridget has experience as an International Client Advisor at Millfield Enterprises, assisting Western European clients, and as an examiner for French GCSE and A level assessments with Pearson. Educational qualifications include a BA Joint Honours degree in French and Italian and a PGCE from the University of Bristol.
