Matthew Slater

Matthew Slater has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Matthew is currently working as a Team Lead - Mechanical Engineering at Strohm since July 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Production Line Engineer at Strohm from January 2019 to July 2022.

Before joining Strohm, Matthew worked at Airborne Oil & Gas as a Production Line Engineer (Junior) from January 2018 to January 2019, and as a CAD Engineer from October 2013 to January 2018.

Matthew also gained experience as a Design Engineer at Irmato Group B.V. from January 2013 to June 2013, and as a Design Technology Technical Assistant at Whitgift School from September 2010 to September 2011.

Earlier in their career, Matthew worked at SAB Miller C.A.S.A. Isenbeck as a Design Engineer for a short period in January-February 2010, and at the NHS as a Design Engineer from January 2009 to March 2009. At the NHS, they were part of a winning design team that focused on reducing bacterial infection in hospitals.

Matthew's work experience also includes a two-week placement at Tarmac as part of their work experience in 2006, where they gained hands-on experience in structural concrete design using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Overall, Matthew Slater has a strong background in mechanical engineering, production line management, CAD design, and product development.

Matthew Slater attended Millenium Sixth Form Centre from 2007 to 2009, where they studied Product Design, Physics, and Biology. Matthew then went on to Brunel University London from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Product Design Engineering.
