Product Development Manager at Strohm

Thiago Pontual has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Thiago currently holds the position of Product Development Manager at Strohm since February 2023. Thiago also gained experience at Michelin, where they worked as an Equipment Engineer and later as a Senior Equipment Engineer. In these roles, they managed medium to large-scale projects, coordinated multidisciplinary teams, and designed equipment for tire manufacturing units. Thiago ensured compliance with environmental, ergonomics, and safety management systems.

Early in their career, Thiago worked at SERCON Consultoria em Projetos de Engenharia as a Junior Equipment Engineer and Engineering Intern. Here, they focused on project execution, structural and thermal analysis, and optimization of subsea equipment and structures for the oil and gas industry.

In 2002, Thiago Pontual enrolled at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro. Thiago pursued a postgraduate degree in Pipeline Engineering and completed the program in 2003.
