Alexis Kolodziej currently serves as Executive Director - Locality Impact at Stroke Association, a position held since July 2015, after previously being the Deputy Director - Policy & Influencing. Prior to joining Stroke Association, Alexis worked at Prostate Cancer UK from September 2010 to July 2015 in various roles, including Campaigns Manager, where campaigns were developed to enhance treatment and support for prostate cancer patients. Significant achievements include the successful campaign to overturn a NICE decision on a breakthrough drug and contributions to public affairs strategies. Earlier experience includes serving as a Parliamentary Assistant and Campaign Co-ordinator at the House of Commons and roles in public affairs and policy research, beginning with an internship at the U.S. House of Representatives. Alexis holds a BA in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, along with prior education from Jacksonville University and Northern High School.
