Alistair Miller has extensive work experience in the non-profit sector, particularly in the field of stroke support. Alistair began their career in 2009 at Momentum Skills North East/Stroke Association, where they served as an Occupational Therapist and Community Integration Coordinator for nearly nine years. In 2018, Alistair joined the Stroke Association as a Stroke Support Manager, overseeing the delivery of services to stroke survivors. Alistair has recently transitioned to the role of Service Delivery Coach, where they continue to contribute to the organization's mission.
Alistair Miller attended Northumbria University from 2005 to 2009, where they completed a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Occupational Therapy. Their field of study focused on occupational therapy.

The Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. They believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke. They provide specialist support, fund critical research and campaign to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support to rebuild their lives. Rebuilding lives after a stroke is a team effort. It takes the determination of stroke survivors and carers, the generosity of supporters and the dedication of the healthcare and research communities to get there. To help in the recovery of stroke survivors the Stroke Association provides information, support and advice. Their key areas of work include: support services, information, research, fundraising, campaigning, and volunteering.
